WHAT IS IT?
A steel-rule die is created and installed on one of our hydraulic clamshell presses. The flat sheet is then punched or "die-cut" into the custom design of your choosing!
Die cutting is the process of cutting plastic sheet into custom shapes and sizes. Here at Futurex, die-cutting is generally used for flat applications of consistent size and may also be used to create creases, perforations, and slits.
- PE with a gauge range from .016" to .125"
- PP with a gauge range from .016" to .125"
- Thin gauge ABS and Styrene sheets
